I know an update is long overdue. But I don't even know where to start. So I will start with the kids new favorite things. The park, that we live right across the street from. That I can let them play at and see them from my front window (and a tiny crack of the ocean as well) My Museum. (kids only) We have been three times in one week. The Monterey Bay Aquarium that is five minutes from our house. We could walk, if I thought I could push the 125 lbs back up the hill! The sea lions we can hear barking from our porch. The deer that graze on our lawn. Dennis the Menace park, it even has a mini-Japanese zip line. Very mini though. The duck pond. The ocean. Though is is much too cold for our liking. It is always still fun to explore and get sand in every crack in our body and clothing. Or maybe just Oliver has that talent. The library. With awesome books galore that mom can pick out online while they are asleep and they think just magically appear for them on the shelf. Oliver was jumping up and down in the library today when I showed him the MJ DVD I found for him. And he gave me an unsolicited hug just to thank me. Very rare from my Ollie. The older boys next door that love to have light saber duels. Calvin's two days of preschool is growing on him. I don't know what he (or I) will do when he actually goes to a full-day of school! Visitors. Our guest "lego" room was filled with family every weekend in February! The Mexican food, a Trader Joes out each gate, Costco, oh wait, those are all the things I love.
Our play time is still filled with Legos and Micheal Jackson. And brilliant Calvin made his brother a Smooth Criminal Lego man and now Ollie will play Legos any time Calvin asks!
So sorry, no pictures of a decorated house. Still not there yet. But we have been having fun and in the end that is making it feel a little more like home. Scott and I were laughing the other night bc Calvin really wants to have people over for dinner like we did in Okinawa. But number one, we don't have a dining room table. Broken in our storage shipment. And number two, he is the only one with friends to invite! His mom and dad will have to catch up.

Trader Joes, Costco and a view of the ocean! Heaven on earth!
Oh, your own sweet little Tupac and Dr. Dre :) Your place sounds so great - we can't wait to come visit!
I would love having all those things nearby as well. Maybe I need to think about moving...:)
Those pictures of the boys are classic.
I love the pictures, I need to go find the girls so they can see. Dani's been talking about Calvin a lot and wanting to come to your house. Hopefully we can have our turn in the lego room someday!
So do you have a red hair thing yet? I can send one your way if you need it....
Please go eat some fresh produce for us. I'm going to the Farmer's Market tomorrow... hopefully I'll find something good! I still have frequent dreams of Costco! I'm happy to hear you're enjoying it so much!!!!
